JERSEY CITY GLOBAL CHARTER SCHOOL'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH THE SKILLS AND EXPLORATORY EXPERIENCES THAT ENABLE THEM TO REACH THEIR FULLEST POTENTIAL AS INDEPENDENT THINKERS AND INNOVATIVE PROBLEM SOLVERS. BY PROVIDING A DIVERSIFIED, COMPREHENSIVE CURRICULUM THAT ENCOMPASSES SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC ENTREPRENEURSHIP, SOCIAL JUSTICE, EQUALITY, ECOLOGICAL SUSTAINABILITY AS WELL PEACE AND HARMONY BETWEEN PEOPLE, WE SEEK TO ADDRESS THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF THE STUDENTS IN A CHANGING SOCIETY.

THE JERSEY CITY GLOBAL CHARTER SCHOOL PROVIDED A FULL-RANGE EDUCATIONAL SERVICES TO 468 STUDENTS, WITH FOCUS ON CONTINUOUS IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NEW JERSEY CURRICULUM CONTENT STANDARDS. THE CHARTER SCHOOL HAS DEVELOPED A COMPREHENSIVE STRATEGIC PLAN TO SUPPORT ITS MISSION AND VISION WHICH SERVES AS A BLUEPRINT FOR THE ACHIEVEMENT OF ITS GOALS. THE PLAN INCLUDES OBJECTIVES, SUCH AS PUPIL ACHIEVEMENTS, STAFF DEVELOPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY IN THE CLASSROOM.
THE CHARTER SCHOOL IMPLEMENTED THE EVERY STUDENT SUCCEEDS ACT (ESSA) SUCCESSFUL YOUNG CHARTER SCHOOL WITH GREAT PROMISE FOR THE FUTURE. WITH A FOCUS ON LEADERSHIP, CIVICS, COMMUNITY SERVICE AND ACADEMICS, THE CHARTER SCHOOL MAINTAINS A LARGE WAITING LIST FOR ENTRANCE AND IS ARMED WITH A STRONG BOARD, EXPERIENCED STAFF, SIGNIFICANT SEED FUNDING, A WELL-DEVELOPED MISSION AND ACCOMPANYING CORE VALUES. AND THE IDEA PROGRAMS. THESE PROGRAMS WERE ENACTED BY CONGRESS TO PREAUTHORIZE THE ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION ACT WITH MAJOR FOCUS ON PROVIDING ALL CHILDREN WITH FAIR, EQUAL AND SIGNIFICANT OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE A HIGH QUALITY EDUCATION THROUGH ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES.
THE CHARTER SCHOOL PROVIDED NUTRITIONALLY BALANCED, LOW COST OR FREE MEALS TO CHILDREN EACH SCHOOL DAY THROUGH ITS BREAKFAST, LUNCH, AND AFTER CARE PROGRAMS. THE PROGRAMS ARE FEDERALLY AND STATE ASSISTED.
