IN 2022 WE EXPANDED OUR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING TO INCLUDE A SPRING AFTERSCHOOL CAMP AND FOUR WEEKS OF SUMMER CAMP SERVING 14 KIDS IN GRANT COUNTY; 9 OF WHICH WERE LOWER INCOME AND GIVEN SCHOLARSHIPS TO ATTEND. IN ADDITION TO OUR SPRING AND SUMMER CAMPS, THE FARM PROVIDED 20 VIRTUAL AND ON FARM EVENTS AND WORKSHOPS WHICH INCLUDED SEEDING DEMONSTRATIONS, YOGA, SPRING/SUMMER/FALL FESTIVALS, FARM STANDS, ETC. 153 KIDS FROM GRANT COUNTY SCHOOLS AND HOMESCHOOL GROUPS ATTENDED FARM FIELD TRIPS. WE PROVIDED OVER $1800 OF FOOD TO OUR TWO LOCAL FOOD PANTRIES IN OUR COMMUNITY AS WELL AS WEEKLY REDUCED PRICED PRODUCE BAGS TO COLUMBIA BASIN CANCER FOUNDATION WHICH AIDED 10 CANCER PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES DURING THE SUMMER AND FALL SEASONS.
