ELIBERARE- A SOCIAL MOVEMENT AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND SEXUAL EXPLOITATION IN ROMANIA. OUR HUMAN TRAFFICKING PREVENTION PROJECT, ELIBERARE, FOCUSSES ON ROMANIA AS A MAJOR SOURCE COUNTRY FOR THOSE THAT ARE TRAFFICKED AND EXPLOITED ACROSS EUROPE. OUR WORK CONSISTS OF EMPOWERING PEOPLE TO PREVENT HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES. WE PROVIDE RESOURCES TO TEACHERS, COMMUNITY LEADERS AND ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDING FLYERS, EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS, RESOURCE KITS, AND WEB BASED RESOURCES. WE HAVE ORGANIZED EVENTS TO RAISE AWARENESS, GATHERED COMMUNITY SUPPORT AND SOCIAL ASSISTANCE, AND PROVIDE A LOCAL OFFICE AND COMMUNITY RESOURCE TO HOST EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND PROMOTE OUR MISSION.
TEEN GIRL PROGRAM WORKS WITH TEENAGE GIRLS IN ROMANIA THROUGH SMALL GROUPS AND ONLINE RESOURCES. OVER 150 GIRLS WERE INVOLVED IN THE PROGRAM.
