THE CIRCLE V PROJECT FUNDS THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN INDIGENOUS AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCE CENTER AT THE SAN JOAQUIN RIVER IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA WITH INPUT FROM THE INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY IN COLLABORATION WITH THE SAN JOAQUIN RIVER CONSEVANCY.


THE TRANSFORMATIVE CLIMATE COMMUNITIES PROJECT FUNDS DEVELOPMENT AND INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS THAT ACHIEVE MAJOR ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH, AND ECONOMIC BENEFITS IN CALIFORNIA'S MOST DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES IN THE SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY. IT EMPOWERS COMMUNITIES MOST IMPACTED BY POLLUTION TO GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS AND LOCAL AIR POLLUTION. THE PROGRAM IS THE COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND EDUCATION COMPONENT OF THE TRANSFORM FRESNO INITIATIVE TO CREATE TRANSFORMATIVE CLIMATE COMMUNITIES IN SOUTHWEST FRESNO, DOWNTOWN AND CHINATOWN.
