REGULATORY ADVOCACY: INECA REPRESENTS ITS MEMBERS IN REGULATORY PROCEDURES CONDUCTED IN THE STATE REGULATORY COMMISSION. THIS WILL INCLUDE MONITORING REGULATORY ISSUES AND COMMUNICATING THE ISSUES TO THE MEMBERS.
CARRIER CONTRACT NEGOTIATION: INECA MEMBERS' NETWORKS ARE CONNECTED TO OTHER TELECOMMUNICATION CARRIER NETWORKS. INECA SERVES AS A SINGLE POINT OF CONTACT TO NEGOTIATE AND DEVELOP THE TERMS FOR THE INTERCONNECTION OF ITS MEMBERS AND OTHERS.
LEGISLATIVE: INECA MONITORS THE PROGRESS OF LEGISLATION AFFECTING ITS MEMBERS, DEVELOPS AN INECA POSITION IN CONSULTATION WITH THE MEMBERS AND ADVOCATES WITH LEGISLATORS.
MEETINGS AND COMMUNICATIONS: INECA WILL CONDUCT AN ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING, EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS AS NEEDED AND PROVIDE COMMUNICATION OF INDUSTRY ISSUES BY PERIODIC NEWSLETTERS, E-MAILS AND TELEPHONE CALLS.
