CITYDANCE CONSERVATORY DEVELOPING THE NEXT GENERATION OF DANCE ARTISTS AND INNOVATORS THROUGH PROFESSIONAL TRAINING FOR 200 STUDENTS AGES 9 - 19. CURRENT STUDENTS HAVE WON YOUTH AMERICAN GRAND PRIX YAGP HOPE AND GRAND PRIX AWARDS AT NEW YORK CITY FINALS AND RECEIVED INVITATIONS TO PERFORM AT YAGPS INTERNATIONAL GALAS. CONSERVATORY GRADUATES HAVE GAINED ACCEPTANCE TO SOME OF THE WORLDS MOST PRESTIGIOUS DANCE TRAINING PROGRAMS, INCLUDING JULLIARD AND THE ROYAL BALLET SCHOOL. OUR ALUMNI PERFORM WITH PROFESSIONAL COMPANIES WORLDWIDE, INCLUDING MARK MORRIS DANCE GROUP, BOSTON BALLET, AND LOPE RA NATIONAL DE LYON. STUDENTS ARE SELECTED THROUGH AUDITIONS, WHERE WE EVALUATE THEIR POTENTIAL, TECHNICAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS, AND PROVEN DETERMINATION TO PURSUE DANCE PROFESSIONALLY. WE PROVIDE 35 WEEKS OF TRAINING IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR AND 3, 2-WEEK 6 WEEKS TOTAL SUMMER INTENSIVES.
