MOVING FORWARD IS DEDICATED TO NURTURING COMMUNITIES BY USING DANCE AS A MEDIUM OF CULTURAL AND SOCIAL UNDERSTANDING. IT PROVIDES A SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS AND YOUTH. IN 2023, THE COMPANY PERFORMED A 30TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT AT THE KENNEDY CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS FOR AN AUDIENCE OF 500 ON NOVEMBER 30, 2023. THE COMPANY PREMIERED A NEW DANCE TITLED "THE MALLORCA SUITE AT THE KREEGER MUSEUM" FOR 200 AUDIENCE MEMBERS. THE COMPANY SET CHOREOGRAPHIES AT THE NATIONAL DANCE INSTITUTE, NM AND AT THE TOWSON UNIVERSITY, MD. THE COMPANY PERFORMED AT THE ARTS CLUB OF WASHINGTON, DC, THE KOREAN CULTURAL CENTER, NYC, AND THE MARTIN LUTHER KING LIBRARY, AMONG OTHERS. OUR FREE OF CHARGE PERFORMANCES, OPEN REHEARSALS AND LECTURE DEMONSTRATIONS REACHED OVER 4,500 IN PERSON AUDIENCE MEMBERS IN THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AND AN ADDITIONAL 1,700 NATIOINALLY. THE COMPANY ALSO PRESENTED FREE EDUCATIONAL LECTURES AND PERFORMANCES TO OVER 1,500 LOWER, MIDDLE, & HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AT BOTH PUBLIC/PRIVATE SCHOOLS AND FOR AGING POPULATIONS AT MULTIPLE AGING COMMUNITIES AND PUBLIC LIBRARIES.
