RESTORE CHILDHOODS DISRUPTED BY WAR. WE DO THIS THROUGH PROGRAMS OF NUTRITION, EDUCATION, COMMUNITY COHESIVENESS, AND TRAINING ADULTS TO WORK WITH CHILDREN IN TRAUMA INFORMED CARE.

GENERAL PROGRAMS - NOVI PROVIDES MATERIAL SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES. THIS INCLUDES THE PROVISION OF FOOD, CLOTHING, BLANKETS, GENERATORS TO WARM COMMUNITY CENTERS, AND CLEAN WATER WHEN NEEDED.


OTHER PROGRAMS: ADVOCACY, EDUCATION ACCESSIBILITY.


TRAINING EVENTS - NOVI PROVIDES SPECIALIZED TRAINING AND TOOLS TO VOLUNTEERS, SOCIAL WORKERS, TEACHERS, THERAPISTS, AND OTHERS WHO WORK WITH CHILDREN IN WAR TORN COMMUNITIES AND HIGH-STRESS ENVIRONMENTS. NOVI ALSO CONCENTRATES ON EQUIPPING PARENTS IN FRONT LINE COMMUNITIES WITH KNOWLEDGE OF TRAUMA AND TRAUMA INFORMED CARE SO THEY CAN BETTER NURTURE THEIR CHILDREN THROUGH THE WAR EXPERIENCE.


COMMUNITY SUPPORT - BECAUSE COMMUNITY COHESIVENESS IS FRACTURED DURING CONFLICT, NOVI ORGANISES EVENTS, SPORTS, THEATER, AND CAMPS TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY AND FAMILY COHESIVENESS AND USE TRAUMA-SENSITIVE APPROACHES TO PROMOTE UNDERSTANDING, CARE, AND INTERDEPENDENCE.
