ORANT CHARITIES SEEKS TO FACILITATE TRANSFORMATIVE EXPERIENCES FOR ALL PEOPLE ENGAGED WITH US. WE DO THIS PRIMARILY U.S. VOLUNTEERS WHO GIVE THEIR TIME SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE TO BENEFIT THE ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE IN MALAWI AFRICA. FOR THE PEOPLE OF MALAWI WE SEEK TO ENABLE THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT. FOR THE VOLUNTEERS THAT TRAVEL WITH US WE STRIVE TO DEVELOP AN ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH THEY EXPERIENCE A PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION LEADING TO A DEEPER ENGAGEMENT TO HELP THE POOR IN THE WORLD. VOLUNTEERS HELP DIG AND REPAIR WELLS THAT PROVIDE CLEAN DRINKING WATER AND CONDUCT MEDICAL CLINICS TO PROVIDE BADLY NEEDED MEDICAL HEALTH CARE. ORANT CHARITIES EMPLOYS MOBILE TEAMS AND HAS A PERMANENT LOCATION IN KASESE MALAWI. THIS CLINIC IS THE SOLE SOURCE OF MEDICAL SERVICES FOR THE SURROUNDING RURAL COMMUNITY. INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTEERS AND MEDICAL TEAMS ARE WELCOME TO AUGMENT THE PERMANENT STAFF.
