ORGANIZATION PROVIDES VICTIM IMPACT PANELS WHICH ARE COMPRISED OF INNOCENT DUI VICTIMS WHO SHARE THEIR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE OF HOW THEIR LOVED ONE WAS KILLED OR INJURED OR HOW THEY, THEMSELVES WERE INJURED AND HOW CRIME IMPACTED THEIR LIVES. GRAPHIC PHOTOS ARE INCLUDED IN THE PRESENTATION. THE PURPOSE OF THE VICTIM IMPACT PANEL IS TO PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE OFFENDER TO SEE AND HEAR THE REALITY OF DUI WITH THE HOPE OF REDUCING RECIDIVISM. THE STOP DUI SPEAKERS BUREAU IS COMPRISED OF INNOCENT DUI VICTIMES AND LAW ENFORCEMENT. PRESENTATIONS ARE MADE TO SCHOOLS, CHURCHES, CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS AND OTHERS. STOP DUI SUPPORTS AND PARTICIPATES WITH SOBRIETY CHECK POINTS, DONATES DUI EQUIPMENT AND PROVIDES FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR DUI EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO LAW ENFORCEMENT
ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO INNOCENT VICTIMS OF IMPAIRED DRIVERS. STOP DUI VICTIM ADVOCATES PROVIDE SUPPORT GROUPS AND ONE ON ONE INTERACTION WITH VICTIMS THAT ADDRESS SUDDEN DEATH, INJURY, GRIEVING, RECOVERY AND THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM. ADVOCATES ACT AS LIAISONS ON BEHALF OF THE VICTIMS WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT AND THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM. VICTIMS RECEIVE IMMEDIATE AND DIRECT ATTENTION TO THEIR NEEDS. THOSE SEEKING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE ARE GUIDED THROUGH THE APPROPRIATE CHANNELS TO RECEIVE THAT AID.
