THE ACLU OF NEVADA PARTICIPATES IN DIRECT AND GRASSROOTS LOBBYING TO SUPPORT OR OPPOSE LEGISLATION RELATED TO CIVIL RIGHTS.
DURING THE NEVADA LEGISLATIVE SESSION, THE ACLU OF NEVADA SENDS STAFF TO CARSON CITY. EXPENSES, OTHER THAN DIRECT LOBBYING EXPENSES, SUCH AS TRAVEL AND ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS, ARE TRACKED AS LEGISLATIVE EXPENSES.
ELECTION EXPENSES INCLUDE THE COSTS OF PUBLIC EDUCATION CAMPAIGNS ON VARIOUS POLITICAL OFFICES' RESPONSIBILITIES AND POLITICAL POWERS DURING ELECTION YEARS.THIS IS DONE THROUGH VARIOUS METHODS, INCLUDING PUBLICATIONS AND POLITICAL OUTREACH EVENTS.
