OUR PRIMARY PROGRAM SERVICE IS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE TO PHYSICALLY AND/OR MENTALLY CHALLENGED ADULTS YEAR-ROUND AT JOB SITES THROUGHOUT SALT LAKE AND DAVIS COUNTIES IN UTAH. WE PROVIDE INDIVIDUALIZED JOB PLACEMENT AND TRAINING IN VOCATIONAL SKILLS AS WELL AS ASSISTANCE IN SOCIAL SKILLS, COMMUNICATION, APPEARANCE, AND BUS TRAINING. FOR THE ADULTS WE SERVE, OUR SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT SERVICE ACHIEVES THE FOLLOWING OUTCOMES: 1) THE OPPORTUNITY TO EARN EQUITABLE WAGES AND OTHER EMPLOYMENT-RELATED BENEFITS, 2) ENHANCED SELF-ESTEEM AND QUALITY OF LIFE, 3) DEVELOPMENT OF NEW SKILLS, AND 4) INCREASED PARTICIPATION IN THE COMMUNITY.
