RESIDENTIAL SERVICES - VALLEYLIFE OWNS OR LEASES GROUP RESIDENTIAL HOMES IN THE NORTHWEST AREA OF MARICOPA COUNTY. EACH HOME CAN ACCOMMODATE UP TO SIX (6) DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED RESIDENTS. BASIC LIVING SKILLS ARE TAUGHT AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY IS ENCOURAGED AND MAINTAINED. DURING THE YEAR, 97 CLIENTS WERE SERVED.
DAY SERVICES - DAY SERVICES PROVIDES A CURRICULUM TO DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED INDIVIDUALS THAT IS EXCEPTIONALLY DIVERSE, CONCENTRATING ON ACTIVITIES WHICH WILL INCREASE AND MAINTAIN INDEPENDENT FUNCTIONING OF EACH PARTICIPANT. PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO OPTIMIZE EACH INDIVIDUAL'S COMMUNITY LIVING SKILLS AND TO REFINE THEIR PERSONAL AND SOCIAL SKILLS. DURING THE YEAR, 80 CLIENTS WERE SERVED.
VOCATIONAL SERVICES - PROVIDES JOB READINESS TRAINING, PAID WORK TRAINING, SUPPORT TO MAINTAIN EMPLOYMENT, AND JOB PLACEMENT FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH A VARIETY OF DISABILITIES AND BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT. DURING THE YEAR, 314 CLIENTS WERE SERVED.
