Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

IN 2022, THE ROUTT COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP (RCEDP) IMPLEMENTED A DIVERSE ARRAY OF PROGRAMS, INCLUDING THE YAMPA VALLEY ENTREPRENEURSHIP CENTER (YVEC), BUSINESS RETENTION & EXPANSION (BR&E), AND KEY INDUSTRIES, AMONG OTHERS. WITHIN THE YVEC PROGRAM, WE CONDUCTED 49 UNIQUE BUSINESS COUNSELING SESSIONS, FACILITATED 19 BUSINESS EDUCATION SEMINARS THAT ENGAGED OVER 150 PARTICIPANTS, AND ORCHESTRATED AN ANNUAL BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION, RESULTING IN THE EMERGENCE OF SIX NEW BUSINESS PLANS AND STARTUPS. OUR BR&E PROGRAM CONTINUED TO PROVIDE INDISPENSABLE SUPPORT TO EXISTING PRIMARY BUSINESSES, OFFERING TECHNICAL, FINANCIAL, NETWORKING, AND REGULATORY ASSISTANCE TO ENSURE THEIR SUSTAINABILITY AND EXPANSION. IN ADDITION, OUR KEY INDUSTRIES PROGRAM CONCENTRATED ON DIVERSIFYING THE LOCAL ECONOMY, WITH A NOTABLE ACCOMPLISHMENT IN 2022 BEING THE FORMATION OF A LOCAL OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL GEAR AND PRODUCT TRADE GROUP, WHICH BROUGHT TOGETHER OVER 20 COMPANIES FOR TARGETED BUSINESS SUPPORT. THESE ACHIEVEMENTS UNDERSCORE RCEDP'S UNWAVERING COMMITMENT TO ENHANCING ROUTT COUNTY'S ECONOMIC VITALITY, FOSTERING ENTREPRENEURSHIP, BOLSTERING EXISTING BUSINESSES, AND PROMOTING COLLABORATION AND INNOVATION THROUGHOUT OUR COMMUNITY. WE LOOK FORWARD TO BUILDING UPON THESE SUCCESSES IN THE COMING YEAR, AS WE REMAIN DEDICATED TO CREATING A PROSPEROUS ECONOMIC FUTURE FOR ROUTT COUNTY.
