RESEARCH, EDUCATION, AND ADVOCACY: APRE UNITES THE POTATO INDUSTRY, INCLUDING POTATO GROWERS AND POTATO FOOD MANUFACTURERS, IN ORDER TO ACTIVELY BUILD THE SCIENCE FOUNDATION RELATED TO THE NUTRITIONAL BENEFITS OF THE POTATO BY FUNDING SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND HELPING TO EDUCATE AND INFORM ACADEMICS, RESEARCHERS AND HEALTH PROFESSIONALS ABOUT POTATO NUTRITION IN HEALTHY DIETARY PATTERNS AND LIFESTYLES. APRE'S RESEARCH PROGRAM WAS CREATED TO EXTEND THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE NUTRITIONAL VALUE OF POTATOES. APRE IS COMMITTED TO THE SCIENTIFIC INTEGRITY OF INDUSTRY FUNDED RESEARCH.
