IT IS FAMILIAR AND REASSURING FOR A CHILD, PLAY ENABLES ONE TO EXPRESS THEIR FEELINGS AND WORRIES, AND IT PROVIDES A SICK CHILD WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE CHOICES AND FEEL A SENSE OF CONTROL IN AN OFTEN CHOICELESS ENVIRONMENT.
