HELPING HAND ME DOWNS MEETS THE IMMEDIATE NEEDS OF CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES THEN CONNECTS THEM WITH LIFE CHANGING RESOURCES THAT FOSTER INDEPENDENCE.

Part 3 - Line 4a

ALL SERVICES ARE UNDER ONE PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES DIAPERS, CLOTHING, SHOES, COATS, BEDS AND OTHER NECESSITIES TO FAMILIES IN NEED. 3,500 CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES WERE SERVED IN 2023. THE FAMILIES WERE GIVEN CLOTHING, SHOES, SOCKS, BABY GEAR, AND DIAPERS. THEY WERE OFFERED ACCESS TO A LIFE COACH WHO CONDUCTS SESSIONS THAT HELP MOMS PROCESS LIFE EVENTS AND LIVE MORE PROACTIVELY. ADDITIONALLY, THE WEEKLY FOOD PANTRY SERVED MEAL KITS, MEATS, AND PERISHABLES WHICH ARE INTENDED TO SUPPLEMENT WHAT FAMILIES ALREADY HAVE AND ALLOW THEM TO MAKE THEIR OWN GROCERIES LAST A BIT LONGER.
