"BALDWIN HOUSE COMMUNITY COLLECTIVE SUPPORTS THE CREATION AND SUSTAINING OF COOPERATIVES AND PROVIDES EDUCATION TO THE LARGER COMMUNITY AROUND COOPERATIVES. WE INTEND TO CREATE AND PROVIDE TECHNICAL, ORGANIZING, FINANCIAL, AND OTHER SUPPORT TO DEMOCRATICALLY-RUN, COMMUNITY-LED, AND SUSTAINABLE COOPERATIVES THAT ARE GROUNDED IN COMMUNITIES THAT HAVE BEEN HISTORICALLY MARGINALIZED, DENIED SAFE, AFFORDABLE HOUSING, AND EXCLUDED FROM FORMAL ECONOMIES. THE GOAL IS TO CREATE MODELS OF INTENTIONAL, DEMOCRATICALLY-RUN, AND COLLECTIVELY HELD SPACES THAT ALLOW COMMUNITIES THE SAFETY TO GROW, CREATE, AND THRIVE.
