THE CANDELA GROUP HAS CONTINUED TO SERVE THE POPULATION OF VENTURA COUNTY, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, AND SANTA BARBARA COUNTY BY HELPING INDIVIDUALS WITH SERIOUS AND PERSISTENT MENTAL ILLNESS, AND OTHER BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CHALLENGES. CANDELA WORKS WITH INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS BY EDUCATING THEM ON HOW TO NAVIGATE THE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SYSTEM AND ADVOCATE FOR THEIR NEEDS. CANDELA HOSTED A TEN WEEK WORKSHOP SERIES OUTLINING THE CONTINUUM OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CARE AND HIGHLIGHTING THE AVAILABLE RESOURCES IN VENTURA COUNTY. CANDELA WORKS VERY CLOSELY WITH ALL INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILY MEMBERS SEEKING HELP WHEN NAVIGATING THE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SYSTEM. CANDELA FOCUSES ON TEN AREAS OF STABILITY WHEN HELPING AN INDIVIDUAL, WHICH INCLUDE; HOUSING, PSYCHOLOGY, PSYCHIATRY, SUBSTANCE USE, MEDICAL, LEGAL, INCOME, TRANSPORTATION, EDUCATION AND CAREER, AND RECIDIVISM.
