TO ORGANIZE A STATEWIDE COALITION OF PARTNERS IN AN ANNUAL EARTH DAY CAMPAIGN THAT BRINGS ATTENTION, DONATIONS, AND LASTING RELATIONSHIPS TO OREGON NONPROFITS WHO MAKE EARTH DAY THEIR EVERY DAY. THE EARTH DAY OREGON 2023 CAMPAIGN INCLUDED 87 DIVERSE NONPROFITS, ALL ON THE FRONT LINES OF POSITIVE CHANGE FOR PEOPLE AND PLANET, AND RAISED $500,000 TO SUPPORT THEIR WORK (FROM 310 LOCAL BUSINESSES AND THE OREGON PUBLIC). THE NONPROFIT AND BUSINESS PARTNERS OF THE CAMPAIGN ENGAGED OVER 12,000 OREGONIANS AT 110 PARTNER EVENTS AROUND THE STATE. EARTH DAY OREGON ORGANIZED FOUR FREE NETWORKING EVENTS FOR 150 NONPROFIT AND BUSINESS LEADERS TO STRENGTHEN CONNECTIONS. EARTH DAY OREGON 2023 EARNED MEDIA FEATURING 35 NONPROFITS AND 19 OF THEIR BUSINESS PARTNERS. ALL TOGETHER, THE CAMPAIGN GENERATES A WAVE OF COLLECTIVE ACTION IN HONOR OF EARTH DAY THAT AMPLIFIES THE YEAR-ROUND IMPACT OF THE PARTICIPATING NONPROFITS, WHILE SHINING A LIGHT ON LOCAL BUSINESSES WHO SUPPORT THEM.
