THE HOME CONNECTIVITY ALLIANCE IS A NONPROFIT CORPORATION FORMED FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES: (I) TO FACILITATE TECHNICAL COLLABORATION OF ITS MEMBERS IN ORDER TO EXPLORE THE DIFFERENT SOLUTIONS ALLOWING INTEROPERABILITY BETWEEN CONNECTED PRODUCT FEATURES THROUGH A SECURE AND PRIVATE ENVIRONMENT IN FURTHERANCE OF FOSTERING HOLISTIC SMART HOME EXPERIENCES FOR CONSUMERS; (II) TO PROMOTE THROUGH ITS WORK PRODUCT THE WORK OF THE CORPORATION; (III) TO DEFINE THROUGH REFERENCE DOCUMENTS AND WORK PRODUCT A CLEAR STRATEGY FOR ENABLING MEMBERS INTEROPERABILITY AND INTERACTIVITY BY ESTABLISHING OPEN GUIDING PRINCIPLES FOR INTEROPERABILITY, ACCESS, AND PLATFORM INFRASTRUCTURE TO DRIVE SEAMLESS INTERCONNECTION ACROSS THE SMART HOME PRODUCT LANDSCAPE WITH AN EMPHASIS ON FOSTERING AN OPEN AND BALANCED ENVIRONMENT FOR PARTICIPATION BY ALL INTERESTED CONSUMER ELECTRONICS RELATED ENTITIES; (IV) TO PROVIDE SECURE, CONSISTENT, AND FRICTIONLESS SMART HOME EXPERIENCES FOR CONSUMERS AND MANUFACTURERS OF INTE

ENGAGE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF, DISSEMINATION, SUPPORT, AND MAINTENANCE OF VARIOUS WORK PRODUCT, REFERENCE DOCUMENTS, JOINT SUBMISSIONS, AND SOFTWARE PROJECTS. ORGANIZED CONFERENCES RELATED TO THE PURPOSE OF THE CORPORATION.


COORDINATE THE PROMOTION OF THE HOME CONNECTIVITY ALLIANCE WORK PRODUCT AND REFERENCE DOCUMENTS AMONG MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS, AS WELL AS CREATE MARKETING PROMOTIONAL COLLATERAL. HCA PARTICIPATED IN THE IFA 2022 TRADESHOW AND PROMOTED THE FIRST DEMONSTRATION OF INTEROPERABILITY.


MAINTAIN RELATIONS WITH OTHER STANDARD SETTING ORGANIZATIONS AND INDUSTRY CONSORTIA, AND STRIVE FOR COHERENCE AMONG STANDARDS OR SPECIFICATIONS MAINTAINED BY THE HOME CONNECTIVITY ALLIANCE AND THOSE OF SUCH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS.
