Part 3 - Line 1
THE OBJECTIVES OF THE EXODUS ENSEMBLE ARE TO DEVELOP, PRODUCE, AND PERFORM DARING IMMERSIVE THEATRICAL EVENTS; TO PROVIDE SANTA FE AND THE WORLD WITH WORLD CLASS EXPERIENTIAL THEATRE; TO DEVELOP, PROVIDE, AND PERFORM THEATRE WORKS AND ENGAGE THE COMMUNITY IN THEATRICAL PERFORMANCE, EXPERIENCES, AND EDUCATION.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
THE EXODUS ENSEMBLE'S PROGRAM SERVICES ACCOMPLISHMENTS OVERVIEW: THE EXODUS ENSEMBLE IS AN IMMERSIVE THEATRE COMPANY THAT HAS TRANSFORMED THE CITY OF SANTA FE'S CULTURAL SCENE. IN 2022, EXODUS HAS CONTINUED TO DEVELOP AND PERFORM THREE CELEBRATED EXPERIENCES, IVANOV, BATHSHEBA AND JAYSON. UNDER DEVELOPMENT FOR PERFORMANCE ON THE SKY RAILWAY IS DEATHCOOKIE. THESE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES USE CLASSIC TEXTS AS A SOURCE AND THE COMPANY, THROUGH AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF DEVELOPMENT, TRANSFORMS THEM INTO CONTEMPORARY AND EXPERIENTIAL PRODUCTIONS WHERE AUDIENCE INTERACTION IS KEY. UNMATCHED ACCESSIBILITY: TRUE ACCESSIBILITY IN THE ARTS IS MORE THAN JUST A COMMITMENT-IT'S AN EMBODIMENT OF OUR CORE ETHOS. EXODUS ENSEMBLE'S DONATION-ONLY MODEL IS GROUNDBREAKING, ENSURING EVERY MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY, IRRESPECTIVE OF FINANCIAL CAPABILITY, CAN PARTAKE IN OUR THEATRICAL EXPERIENCES. THIS MODEL NOT ONLY DEMOCRATIZES ACCESS BUT ALSO BRINGS TOGETHER A DIVERSE MIX OF AUDIENCES. TESTAMENT TO THIS IS THE EVEN SPLIT BETWEEN AUDIENCES UNDER AGE 45 AND THOSE OVER 45. IN A CITY LIKE SANTA FE, WHERE THE DEMOGRAPHIC NATURALLY SKEWS OLDER, OUR ABILITY TO DRAW YOUNGER AUDIENCES IS NOTABLE. MOREOVER, THE FACT THAT MANY OF OUR ATTENDEES CITE EXODUS AS THEIR FIRST EVER THEATRICAL EXPERIENCE SPEAKS VOLUMES ABOUT OUR REACH AND IMPACT. REVOLUTIONIZNG THEATRICAL CONSUMPTION: EXODUS ENSEMBLE IS PIONEERING A NOVEL WAY TO EXPERIENCE THEATER. BY BLENDING LIVE PERFORMANCES, CINEMA, AND INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCES, WE'VE ATTRACTED A WIDE CROSS-SECTION OF AUDIENCES. OUR CONTENT RESONATES WITH BOTH FIRST-TIME THEATERGOERS AND SEASONED ARTS ENTHUSIASTS. THE DONATION-ONLY MODEL SERVES AS AN INITIAL ATTRACTION, ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE TENTATIVE ABOUT THEATER. HOWEVER, IT IS THE QUALITY, INNOVATION, AND IMMERSIVE NATURE OF OUR PRODUCTIONS THAT ENSURES THEY RETURN REPEATEDLY, SOLIDIFYING OUR REPUTATION IN THE ARTS SCENE. PROGRAM IMPACT & INNOVATION: THROUGH OUR UNIQUE APPROACH, MARRYING TRANSFORMATIVE USE OF SPACE, INNOVATIVE STORYTELLING, AND IMMERSIVE MODALITY, WE'VE RAISED THE BAR IN THE AMERICAN THEATER LANDSCAPE. OUR NON- TRADITIONAL VENUES, SPANNING MUSEUMS TO TRAIN CARS, AND INTERACTIVE ENGAGEMENTS PROVIDE AUDIENCES WITH UNPARALLELED EXPERIENCES. OUR METICULOUSLY RESEARCHED AND REIMAGINED CONTENT ENSURES THAT CLASSICAL THEMES RESONATE WITH CONTEMPORARY RELEVANCE. CONCLUSION: THE EXODUS ENSEMBLE STANDS OUT NOT JUST FOR ITS ARTISTIC EXCELLENCE, BUT ALSO ITS UNWAVERING COMMITMENT TO MAKING ARTS ACCESSIBLE. WE HAVE SUCCESSFULLY TURNED HESITANT ONLOOKERS INTO PASSIONATE THEATER AFICIONADOS. BY ENSURING THAT FINANCES ARE NEVER A BARRIER AND BY CONTINUALLY PUSHING THE BOUNDARIES OF IMMERSIVE THEATER, EXODUS ENSEMBLE REMAINS A BEACON FOR NORTHERN NEW MEXICO AUDIENCES AND FOR THOSE WHO VISIT SANTA FE, FOSTERING A COMMUNITY WHERE ART IS TRULY FOR EVERYONE.
