DALLAS THEATER CENTER (DTC) PRESENTS ITS AUDIENCES WITH AN INVIGORATING AND BROAD ARRAY OF PLAYS, INCLUDING BOTH CLASSIC TEXTS AND INNOVATIVE NEW WORK. THESE PERFORMANCES INCLUDE A SUBSCRIPTION SEASON AND AN ANNUAL PRODUCTION OF THE PLAY, A CHRISTMAS CAROL. IN ADDITION, THE DTC'S COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE EXTENDS TO ITS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, WHICH STRIVE TO CREATE AN ESSENTIAL DIALOGUE BETWEEN THE THEATER AND THE COMMUNITY-AT-LARGE. DTC'S HIGHLY ACCLAIMED PROJECT DISCOVERY PROGRAM PROVIDES APPROXIMATELY 10,000 LOCAL "AT RISK" MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND THE THEATER'S PRODUCTIONS FREE OF CHARGE.
