WE OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED WITH OUR FIRST INVESTMENTS IN SUPPORT OF BIPOC ENTREPRENEURS AND SMALL BUSINESSES. TO DATE, WE HAVE MADE OR PARTICIPATED IN $1.3M IN NON-EXTRACTIVE, INTEGRATED CAPITAL INVESTMENTS (EQUITY PROFIT SHARE, LOANS, AND GRANTS); DEVELOPED A ROBUST PIPELINE OF 45 BUSINESSES; PROVIDED COMPREHENSIVE BUSINESS ADVISING TO 26 BUSINESSES; AND CREATED AN INNOVATIVE COMMUNITY ORGANIZING STRATEGY WITH BIPOC ENTREPRENEURS AND WORKER-OWNERS WHO ARE FIGHTING FOR POLICY AND SYSTEMS CHANGE. IN 2022, WE ENGAGED 125 ENTREPRENEURS AND WORKER-OWNERS IN BUILDING POLITICAL POWER AND OUR BASE CONTINUES TO GROW IN 2023.
