THE TURTLE FOUNDATION IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION FOUNDED IN 2021.THE FOUNDATION SOLICITS TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS FROM MEMBERS AND FRIENDS OF ATLANTIC BEACH COUNTRY CLUB (ABCC)TO SUPPORT ITS MISSION. ITS MISSION IS TO ADVANCE AND SUPPORT THE EDUCATIONAL GOALS AND ASPIRATIONS OF THE ABCC EMPLOYEE TEAM MEMBER WITH FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE.

IN 2022, THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED OVER 20,000 IN TUITION ASSISTANCE TO 24 CLUB EMPLOYEES. THEIR COURSES OF INSTRUCTION RANGED FROM A MASTERS DEGREE IN EDUCATION TO CERTIFICATION AS A JACKSONVILLE FIRE AND RESCUE DEPARTMENT (JFRD) FIREFIGHTER. THE FOUNDATION ALSO SPONSORED SPRING AND FALL FUND- RAISING EVENTS AND SUPPORTED LOCAL COMMUNITY CENTER HOLIDAY GIFT-GIVING EFFORTS FOR CHILDREN.
