OASIS NETWORK PROVIDES CLOTHING AND OTHER FUNDAMENTAL NECESSITIES TO HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS TO ENSURE THEIR PERSONAL AND ACADEMIC SUCCESS.

IN 2023, OASIS OPPORTUNITIES ENSURED THAT 15,770 STUDENTS IN HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS(HCPS) HAD ACCESS TO THE CLOTHING AND HYGIENE ITEMS THEY NEEDED TO BE EMPOWERED TO ATTEND SCHOOL EVERY DAY AND FULLY ENGAGE IN THEIR LEARNING. THEY WERE PROVIDED SCHOOL UNIFORMS, NON-UNIFORM CLOTHING, SOCKS AND UNDERWEAR, SHOES, HYGIENE ITEMS AND OTHER ESSENTIALS THROUGH THEIR SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKERS. SIX PROGRAMS PROVIDED SOCIAL WORKERS IMMEDIATE ACCESS TO 75,404 ITEMS EITHER THROUGH FOUR CLOTHING SITES LOCATED ON SCHOOL DISTRICT PROPERTY, AN ONLINE ORDER & DELIVERY PROGRAM, EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, A TEEN POP-UP SHOP, OR TWO OTHER ONE-TIME ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS FOR SCHOOL UNIFORMS, SOCKS AND UNDERWEAR, AND HYGIENE ITEMS. IN 2023, OASIS PARTNERED WITH THE HCPS H.E.L.P. TEAM TO PROVIDE THESE ESSENTIALS FOR 2,142 HOMELESS STUDENTS.
