READ USA HAS CREATED AND REFINED ITS UNIQUE APPROACH TO DEVELOPING GRADE-LEVEL READERS, TEEN LEADERS, AND TRANSFORMATIONAL TEACHERS USING EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICES AND PROGRAMMING. READ USA'S MULTI-FACETED MODEL INCLUDES LITERACY TUTORING, BOOK CHOICE & OWNERSHIP, MULTICULTURAL LITERACY PROGRAMMING, FAMILY ENGAGEMENT, WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT, AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR EDUCATORS. THE DONNA FOUNDATION, A PRIVATE NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION IN NORTHEAST FLORIDA, PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT NATIONWIDE TO THOSE LIVING WITH BREAST CANCER, FUNDS GROUND BREAKING BREAST CANCER RESEARCH, AND PROVIDES COMMUNITY BASED ENGAGEMENT FOR SURVIVORS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE ORGANIZATION PARTICIPATES IN A VARIETY OF OUTREACH INITIATIVES, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND FUNDRAISING EVENTS YEARLY TO SUPPORT ITS MISSION. THE DONNA CARELINE SERVES UNINSURED, UNDER-INSURED AND INSURED PATIENTS AT NO CHARGE TO HELP OVERCOME AND RESOLVE INSURANCE-RELATED AND FINANCIAL OBSTACLES THAT IMPACT CARE. THE DONNA FOUNDATION SUPPORTS NOVEL RESEARCH INITIATIVES WITH THE GOAL TO MORE EFFECTIVELY DIAGNOSE,TREAT AND ULTIMATELY FINISH BREAST CANCER FOR ALL PATIENTS. MORE THAN $3 MILLION HAS BEEN GRANTED IN SUPPORT OF TRANSLATIONAL GENOMICS AND IMMUNE STUDIES.
