THE MISSION OF THE CORPORATION IS TO ASSIST YOUTH IN DEVELOPING THE QUALITIES OF CITIZENSHIP, DISCIPLINE, TEAMWORK, AND LEADERSHIP.

THE CORPORATION IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO DEVELOPING SKILLED PLAYERS WHO WANT TO EXCEL IN THE GAME OF BASEBALL OR SOFTBALL, WHILE ATTAINING STRONG CHARACTER AND MATURITY IN A POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT. ALL PLAYERS WHO WISH TO PLAY TRAVEL BASEBALL OR SOFTBALL SHOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO SO REGARDLESS OF FINANCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES. THE GUIDING PRINCIPLES OF THE ORGANIZATION INCLUDE CREATING A FUN, SAFE AND COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR YOUTH TO PLAY BASEBALL OR SOFTBALL. DISCIPLINE, TEAMWORK, SPORTSMANSHIP AND TEACHING PROPER COMPETITIVENESS IS DEVELOPED AMONGST PLAYERS BY ACHIEVING TEAM AND PERSONAL GOALS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO DEVELOPS AND SUPPORTS COACHING THAT UPHOLDS THE OBJECTIVES AND PRINCIPLES OF THE NOR CAL OAKS WHILE AT THE SAME TIME, UTILIZES THE PRINCIPLES OF POSITIVE COACHING. BUILDING STRONG CHARACTER AND LIFE SKILLS IN A FUN AND POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT IS PARAMOUNT.
