Part 3
TAC'S PRIMARY GOAL IS TO PROVIDE WORLD-CLASS, EVIDENCE-BASED, CULTURALLY AWARE CARE FOR UNDERSERVED AND MARGINALIZED POPULATIONS THROUGH THE ESTABLISHMENT OF CLINICS AND ONGOING SUPERVISION AND TRAINING OF OUR EMPLOYED CLINICIANS. ALL OF TAC'S TIME AND RESOURCES WILL BE BE ALLOCATED TO THIS GOAL. TAC ACHIEVES THIS GOAL THROUGH THE ESTABLISHMENT OF CLINICS AND TRAINING/MENTORSHIP PROGRAMS. UTILIZING PRIMARILY CBT-INFORMED INTERVENTIONS, PRACTITIONERS WILL OFFER OUTPATIENT CARE FOR CONDITIONS SUCH AS MOOD DISORDERS, TRAUMA/PTSD, OCD, SUD, AND EDS. EXPERTS IN CBT-I WILL CONSULT ON SLEEP DIFFICULTIES. INTENSIVELY TRAINED CLINICIANS WILL PROVIDE FULL MODEL, COMPLIANT DBT INCLUDING SKILLS GROUP, INDIVIDUAL THERAPY, AND PHONE COACHING. CLINICIANS WILL ALSO PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENTS TO ALLOW DIAGNOSES OF DISORDERS SUCH AS ADHD AND ASD, PROVIDING REPORTS AND DOCUMENTATION. TAC ALSO SEEKS TO DEVELOP AND PROMOTE THE CAREERS OF PSYCHOLOGISTS AND PSYCHOLOGISTS-IN-TRAINING WHO HOLD MARGINALIZED IDENTITIES THROUGH ADVANCED TRAINING AND MENTORSHIP. TO THAT END, TAC IS DEVELOPING A THOUGHTFUL AND ROBUST PRACTICE OF MENTORSHIP FOR OUR CLINICIANS-IN-TRAINING. TAC WILL ALSO FINANCIALLY SUPPORT EMPLOYEES' ONGOING CLINICAL TRAINING BY SPONSORING ENROLLMENT IN WORLD-CLASS CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS OFFERED BY NON-TAC ORGANIZATIONS. THESE TRAININGS ARE HIGHLY COVETED IN THE FIELD AND OFTEN TOO COSTLY FOR INDIVIDUAL PRACTITIONERS TO PAY OUT OF POCKET. IN THE YEAR 2022, TAC WAS ABLE TO SERVE A TOTAL OF 58 CLIENTS. TAC HELD APPROXIMATELY 50-60 DBT GROUP THERAPY SESSIONS FOR CLIENTS. TAC HIRED 8-10 CLINICIANS TO SERVE CLIENTS, WITH EACH CLINICIANS PROVIDING APPROXIMATELY 4 CLINIC HOURS OF THERAPY PER WEEK. A MAJORITY OF THESE CLINICIANS ARE POST-MASTERS DOCTORAL CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY STUDENTS IN WASHINGTON RECEIVING PAYMENT FOR THEIR SERVICES AND EXCEPTIONAL TRAINING. TAC WAS ABLE TO PAY FOR 3-5 LICENSED CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGISTS FOR SUPERVISION. TAC PROVIDED ITS CLINICIANS ADVANCED TRAINING IN DBT THROUGH BEHAVIORAL TECH.
