REISER RELIEF, INC. WAS FOUNDED BY FATHER BERNARD A. REISER, AND IS OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY TO PROVIDE FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES, PRINCIPALLY PROVIDING FOR THE POOR, THE ELDERLY AND THE HOMELESS. ITS PRIMARY FOCUS IS RELIEF FOR THE POOR IN HAITI.

GRANT TO BENEFIT NEEDY IN GENERAL - HAITI - SCHOOLS: REISER RELIEF, INC. PROVIDED GRANTS USED TO SUPPORT TWO SCHOOLS IN HAITI - REISER HEIGHTS IN THE POOR, RURAL AREA OF LESPINASSE AND TERRA PROMISE IN THE SLUMS OF CITE SOLEIL, TOGETHER EDUCATING OVER 1,000 STUDENTS. WE HELP BY PROVIDING FUNDS TO PAY TEACHERS SALARIES SO THAT THE SCHOOL FEES CAN BE LOW ENOUGH TO ALLOW EVEN THE POOREST FAMILIES TO SEND THEIR CHILDREN TO SCHOOL. WE HAVE ALSO BUILT SCHOOL CLASSROOMS, DELIVERED WATER TO SCHOOLS, AND PURCHASED FOOD, SUPPLIES, BENCHES, DESKS, UNIFORMS AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR THESE BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN OF GOD.
MARFRANC PROJECTS - REISER RELIEF, INC. PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO AN ELDERCARE FACILITY. REISER RELIEF AS AN ORGANIZATION HELPED ADD SECURITY MEASURES TO THE CONVENT HOUSE AND PUT NEW ROOFS ON BOTH THE MEN'S AND WOMEN'S DORMITORIES. SECONDLY, WE SENT A CONTAINER OF FOOD AND A SHIPPING CONTAINER TO STORE THE ITEMS IN. REISER RELIEF WAS PROUD TO BE PART OF A GROUP THAT COMPLETED AND OPENED PHASE ONE OF A PRIMARY SCHOOL WITH 6 CLASSROOMS AND AN OUTDOOR LATRINE. IN THE FUTURE REISER RELIEF PLANS TO COMPLETE 1 OR 2 MORE PHASES TO THE SCHOOL AND PROVIDE FRESH RUNNING WATER AT THE SCHOOL.
