MEMBER SERVICES - THE SALT LAKE COUNTY MEDICAL SOCIETY HAS TWO DINNER MEETINGS EACH YEAR, WHICH PROVIDE MEMBERS A CHANCE TO NETWORK AND HEAR FROM SPEAKERS ON RELEVANT TOPICS. THE SOCIETY KEEPS MEMBERS INFORMED ON CURRENT ADVANCES IN MEDICINE, AND ON LEGISLATIVE ISSUES THAT AFFECT MEDICAL PRACTICE. THE SOCIETY WORKS CLOSELY WITH THE UTAH MEDICAL ASSOCIATION TO PROVIDE TIMELY CONTINUING EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES AND TO PROVIDE MEMBERS ACCESS TO DISCOUNTED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, INSURANCE AND FINANCIAL PLANNING SERVICES. THE SOCIETY ALSO OPERATES A PHYSICIAN REFERRAL SERVICE FOR MEMBERS.
