SLEA IS A PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION ASSOCIATION THAT ADVOCATES FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION AND THE RIGHTS OF EDUCATORS. WE HAVE INCREASED PARTICIPATION AND ACTIVISM IN SLEA SO AS TO EMPOWER EDUCATORS TO IMPROVE THE TEACHING PROFESSION, AND GIVE TEACHERS A PLATFORM TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND EQUITY IN OUR DISTRICT.
