REGULAR MEETINGS ARE DEVOTED TO ENHANCING THE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE OF BLOOD CENTER MANAGEMENT THROUGH EDUCATION, OPEN DISCUSSION, AND THE SHARPENING OF PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE AMONG MEMBER BLOOD CENTERS. PUBLICATIONS AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS DISSEMINATE CURRENT INFORMATION AND RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN THE BLOOD COMMUNITY TO APPROXIMATELY 1,200 SUBSCRIBERS. COMMUNITY BLOOD CENTER INTERESTS ARE REPRESENTED BEFORE GOVERNMENT AND PRIVATE SECTOR AGENCIES THAT ESTABLISH POLICY AND SET THE NATIONAL AGENDA.
