OUT MONTCLAIR IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION CREATED TO RAISE AWARENESS AND PROVIDE SUPPORT AND SOLIDARITY FOR THE LGBTQIA+ COMMUNITY OF MONTCLAIR AND NEIGHBORING TOWNS. OUT MONTCLAIR OFFERS EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS TO PROMOTE INCLUSIVITY AND EQUALITY FOR LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL, TRANSGENDER, QUEER, NON-BINARY AND GENDER-FLUID YOUTH AND ADULTS. OUT MONTCLAIR OFFERS A SAFE SPACE WHERE THE LGBTQIA+ COMMUNITY AND ALLIES CAN COME TOGETHER, IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE AND CELEBRATE THE COMMUNITY.IN JUNE 2022, OUT MONTCLAIR HELD THE FIRST-EVER MONTCLAIR PRIDE WITH MORE THAN 14,000 ATTENDEES. IT WAS THE SECOND LARGEST PRIDE EVENT IN NEW JERSEY IN 2022, A TOP TOURISM ATTRACTION FOR THE STATE IN JUNE AND ONE OF THE BIGGEST DISPLAYS OF PRIDE, SOLIDARITY, AND UNITY THAT MONTCLAIR AND NEIGHBORING TOWNS HAD SEEN.
OUT MONTCLAIR PROGRAMMING INCLUDES OUT MONTCLAIR TEENS, OUT MONTCLAIR 50+, OUT AT NIGHT, OUT MONTCLAIR FAMILIES, AND OUT MONTCLAIR TRANS PROGRAMMING, JOINING PUBLIC EDUCATION AND AWARENESS-BUILDING AS CORE PROGRAMS. THESE PROGRAMS ATTRACTED THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE FROM THE COMMUNITY AND BEYOND.
