THE PURPOSE OF THE PRIVATE OPERATING FOUNDATION IS TO SUPPORT THE WELL BEING OF CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES BY CREATING AND MAINTAINING WELCOMIMG LIVING SPACES AND OTHER RELATED SERVICES FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN UNDERGOING MEDICAL TREATMENT REQUIRING PROXIMITY TO A HOSPITAL MEDICAL CENTER IN THE CHARLOTTESVILLE VIRGINIA METROPOLITAN AREA.. TO PROVIDE ENCOURAGEMENT, SAFETY, AND HOPE TO THESE CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES. DURING THE CURRENT YEAR, RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY HAS BEEN ACQUIRED AND RENOVATED TO PROVIDE SUCH HOUSING AND RELATED AMENITIES.
