NEXT BREATH PRESIDENT LORIE KARNATH GAVE A KEYNOTE ADDRESS AT THE NATIONAL JASON CONFERENCE, A TWO-DAY KNOWLEDGE ECONOMY & INNOVATIONS TO STEM SYMPOSIUM DESIGNED FOR SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENTS. HER ADDRESS EMPHASIZED THE IMPORTANCE OF CLEAN AIR FOR EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY CHILDREN AS THEY DEVELOP. ADDITIONALLY, NEXT BREATH CONDUCTED EDUCATIONAL INTERVIEWS AND DISCUSSIONS WITH LEADERS IN THEIR RESPECTIVE FIELDS ON THE ISSUES OF AIR QUALITY, WATER, ETC. TO BROADEN AND SHARE DEEPER EDUCATIONAL KNOWLEDGE OF OUR CURRENT CLIMATE ISSUE TO SHARE VIA OUR WEBSITE AND ON YOUTUBE.COM. NEXT BREATH ALSO PARTNERED WITH MEZEMBITE FOREST CENTRE TO PROMOTE AND HIGHLIGHT THEIR TREE PLANTING PROJECT, IN SUPPORT OF THEIR FOREST RESTORATION PROGRAM. THE FOUNDATION ALSO ESTABLISHED CURRICULUM FOR OUR LIVING CLASSROOM INITIATIVE, AN ONGOING PROJECT TO IMPROVE THE CLASSROOM SCIENCE ON CLIMATE.
