THE MISSION OF FIRST FRUITS IS TO SERVE AND SUPPORT THOSE IN NEED BOTH ON AND OFF THE CAMPUS OF THE RIDGE COMMUNITY CHURCH THROUGH FOOD, MEALS, PRAYER, COUNSELING, TOILETRIES, EDUCATION, MEETING PERSONAL NEEDS, AND OTHER INITIATIVES.

SINCE 2019, FIRST FRUITS HAS PROVIDED HIGH QUALITY FOOD TO THE HUNGRY BY DELIVERING THEM A HOT MEAL FROM ITS STATE-OF-THE-ART MOBILE FOOD KITCHEN (SIMILAR TO A FOOD TUCK) AND/OR BY PROVIDING THEM WITH A BOX OF FOOD OR FRESH PRODUCE. THE MOBILE FOOD KITCHEN IS REGULATED AND INSPECTED BY THE GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH JUST LIKE A RESTAURANT.IN ADDITION TO PROVIDING FOOD AND OTHER NECESSITIES TO THE HUNGRY, FIRST FRUIT SEEKS TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY THROUGH COUNSELING, AND A FIRST FRUITS VOLUNTEER MEETS INDIVIDUALLY WITH EACH PERSON SERVED TO LISTEN, DEVELOP A RELATIONSHIP, AND PROVIDE REFERRAL RESOURCES TO ADDRESS WHATEVER CHALLENGES THEY ARE FACING.
