LIVING HUNGRY'S MISSION IS TO DESIGN NUTRITION PRODUCTS LOGISTICS AND INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS TO END HUNGER EMPOWER HEALTH AND UNLEASH THE HIDDEN KINDNESS VITALITY AND GENIUS IN OUR HOMELESS CHILDREN OUR AT-POTENTIAL TEENS AND OUR CHRONICALLY ILL NEIGHBORS AND THEIR FAMILIES.

LIVING HUNGRY SOURCES PURCHASES WAREHOUSES MOVES DIRECTS AND DISTRIBUTES RESOURCES AND FOOD TO SUPPORT THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF THE MOST VULNERABLE IN OUR COMMUNITY. WE RESOURCED AND NOURISHED WELL 150 HOMELESS VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES 900 HOMELESS STUDENTS IN 27 PALM BEACH COUNTY SCHOOLS AND 90 PRODUCE PRESCRIPTION CLIENTS ALONG WITH THEIR FAMILIES. LIVING HUNGRY PROVIDED 2.2 MILLION POUNDS OF GROCERIES TO FOOD PANTRIES AND FOOD BANK PARTNERS. LIVING HUNGRY FED OVER 25,000 MEALS TO HOMELESS STUDENTS AND VETERANS. LIVING HUNGRY'S HEALTHY FOOD PRESCRIPTION EVALUATION BY TUFTS UNIVERSITY RESEARCHERS REPORTED A 0.8 HBA1C POINT DROP AFTER THE 6-MONTH INTERVENTION. THIS YEAR LIVING HUNGRY AND OTHER FOUNDERS FORMED THE FLORIDA HEALTH AND NUTRITION COALITION FOR ALL FLORIDIANS TO EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF FOOD IS MEDICINE PROGRAMS FOR A MORE EFFICIENT AND EQUITABLE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM.
