REAP CENTER IS A BIODYNAMIC AND REGENERATIVE COMMUNITY-BASED RESILIENCE DEMONSTRATION PROJECT.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
COMMUNITY MAKERSPACE. THE MAKERSPACE, SHOPS, AND TOOLS PROVIDE COMMUNITY RESILIENCE, WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT TRAINING, AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND HAS BENEFITTED 650 PEOPLE.
COMMUNITY GARDENS. THE COMMUNITY GARDENS ENCOMPASS THE GARDEN AREAS AND THE COMMUNITY COMPOSTING ARE. THIS PROGRAM TEACHES SOIL SCIENCE, BIODIVERSITY, AND RELATED EDUCATION AND HAS BENEFITTED 350 PARTICIPANTS.
SHEEP PROGRAM. THE SHEEP CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY GARDENS BY PROVIDING BIOMASS FOR THE COMPOST, AS WELL AS COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND LIVESTOCK TRAINING. THIS PROGRAM HAS BENEFITTED 250 PEOPLE.
