THE SOLAR PROJECT "GET LIT, STAY LIT" WAS CREATED FOR THE PURPOSE OF SAVING FOOD WASTE DURING A POWER OUTAGE. IN ADDITION TO SAVING FOOD WASTE, PARTICIPATING RESTAURANTS CAN BECOME A COOLING CENTER, A PHONE CHARGING CENTER, AND ADDITIONAL NEEDS DURING A POWER OUTAGE. THIS INITIATIVE CREATES JOB TRAINING TO LEARN THE BASICS OF SOLAR INSTALLATION AS A POST-HURRICANE SAFETY NET FOR THE COMMUNITY.
FEED THE SECOND LINE PARTNERED WITH WINN DIXIE TO DEVELOP A SHOPPING LIST OF 500 ESSENTIAL GROCERY ITEMS FOR CULTURE BEARERS OF OUR COMMUNITY.
