HEAD START PROGRAM PROVIDES COMPRENSIVE EARLY CHILD DEVELOPMENT FOR DISADVANTAGED PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILES, AS IF DECEMBER 31, 2018 THE PROGRAM SERVES APPROXIMATELY 1,713 CHILDREN.
PROVIDES VARIOUS COMMUNITY SERVICES TO RESIDENTS OF ORLEANS PARISH, INCLUDING THE WEATHERIZATION AND THE COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT PROGRAMS.
PROVIDES UTILITY ASSISTANCE TO DISADVANTAGEDFAMILIES AND THE ELDERLY. THE CLIENTS RECEIVING UTILITY ASSISTANCE APPROXIMATED 11,398 FOR THE 2018 CALENDER YEAR.
