THE APPALACHIAN ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY LOAN FUND (AATLF) WAS FOUNDED IN 2021 AS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY DEVICES AND SERVICES THROUGH LOW OR NO-INTEREST LOANS TO INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO LIVE IN A STATE WITHIN THE APPALACHIAN REGION FOR THE PURPOSE OF GAINING GREATER INDEPENDENCE, PRODUCTIVITY, AND INCLUSION IN THE COMMUNITY. AATLF HAS APPLIED TO BECOME A FEDERALLY CERTIFIED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FINANCIAL INSTITUTION (CDFI). AATLF IS A SUBSIDIARY OF PENNSYLVANIA ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY FOUNDATION.
