RESCUE ONE MORE PROVIDES SAFETY, JUSTICE, AND HEALING TO SURVIVORS OF SEXUAL ABUSE IN UGANDA THROUGH THE ESTABLISHMENT OF RESCUE ONE MORE CENTERS AND COMMUNITY ACTION TEAMS (CATS). THE RESCUE ONE MORE CENTERS PROVIDE SAFE SHELTER, BASIC MEDICAL SERVICES, EMOTIONAL CARE, AND CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO SURVIVORS OF ABUSE. THE CATS ARE ESTABLISED IN THE SAME COMMUNITIES TO BRING LOCAL LEADERS TOGETHER TO WORK ON EACH CASE TO ENSURE EACH SURVIVOR RECEIVES SERVICES NEEDED TO RECOVER EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY, TO PURSUE JUSTICE, ETC. THE CATS ALSO WORK TO PREVENT SEXUAL ABUSE THROUGH COMMUNITY AWARENESS PROGRAMS.
