FINANCIALLY SUPPORT THE WORK OF SUN SOUNDS OF ARIZONA RADIO, AN OUTREACH SERVICE OF RIO SALADO COLLEGE, ALLOWING VISUALLY IMPAIRED INDIVIDUALS ACCESS TO AUDITORY VERSIONS OF PRINT MEDIA IN THE STATE OF ARIZONA.

SUN SOUNDS PROVIDES THE AUDIO READING OF OVER 200 PRINTED PUBLICATIONS FOR ANYONE WHO CANNOT READ OR HOLD PRINT MATERIAL DUE TO A DISABILITY. ALL SERVICES AND DEVICES TO RECEIVE OUR BROADCAST SPECIAL RADIOS AND SMART HOME DEVICES ARE FREE TO THE END USER. SUN SOUNDS HAS ENGAGED IN OVER 200 OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES. OVER 11,000 PEOPLE WERE INFORMED ABOUT OUR SERVICES THROUGH THESE EVENTS IN FY2022/23. WE CONTACT SUN SOUNDS LISTENERS MONTHLY WITH WELCOME AND BIRTHDAY CALLS. WE ENGAGE WITH OUR VOLUNTEERS, THROUGH VIRTUAL VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION SESSIONS, BROADCAST WORKSHOPS, NEWSLETTERS AND VIRTUAL GET-TOGETHERS.
