THE HELEN G. BONFILS FOUNDATION, ORGANIZED AND OPERATED FOR THE EXCLUSIVE BENEFIT AND SUPPORT OF THE DENVER CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS (DCPA), IS AN ORGANIZATION DESCRIBED IN SECTION 509 (A)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE. THE DCPA WAS INCORPORATED IN 1953 FOR THE PURPOSE OF CREATING AND PROMOTING AN INTEREST IN AND AN APPRECIATION AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE PERFORMING ARTS. THE DCPA OPERATES THE HELEN BONFILS THEATRE COMPLEX AND OTHER FACILITIES AT THE DENVER PERFORMING ARTS COMPLEX UNDER LEASES WITH THE CITY AND COUNTY OF DENVER. THE FOUNDATION HAS PLEDGED ITS ENTIRE RESOURCES TO OR FOR THE USE OF THE DCPA.
