THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES FUNDRAISING FOR AND COLLABORATES WITH LINCOLN HILLS CARES IN CONDUCTING YOUTH OUTDOOR PROGRAMS. THE FOUNDATION ENGAGES IN GRANT-MAKING TO PARTNER CHARITIES AND THIRD PARTIES THAT PROVIDE SERVICES FOR LINCOLN HILLS CARES PROGRAMMING.

THE FOUNDATION CONDUCTS FUNDRAISING THROUGH SOLICITATION OF PUBLIC SUPPORT AND APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDING TO SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE PROGRAMS OF LINCOLN HILLS CARES. THE FOUNDATION CREATES PATHWAYS THAT LEAD TO OUTDOOR EXPERIENCES WHICH PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES TO INCREASE AWARENESS OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS. THE FUNDING INCREASES THE OPPORTUNITY FOR DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION. THE FOUNDATIONS FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF LINCOLN HILLS CARES (LHC) WILL CONTINUE TO ENABLE ITS ABILITY TO DEVELOP THE NEXT GENERATION OF YOUNG LEADERS THROUGH EDUCATION AND RECREATION, CULTURAL HISTORY EXPLORATION, AND STEM FIELD CAREER EXPOSURE, AND EVENTUAL WORKFORCE ADVANCEMENT.
LINCOLN HILLS CARES TEAMWORKS - PROVIDE YOUTH FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS A VALUABLE WORK EXPERIENCE. PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM WILL EXPOSE YOUTH TO POTENTIAL CAREER PATHS, POSITIVE ROLE MODELS, AND AN INTRODUCTION TO NEW PERSPECTIVES ON THE ENVIRONMENT AND CONSERVATION. STUDENTS WILL BE CHALLENGED TO CULTIVATE TEAMWORKS CORE TENETS (LEADERSHIP, ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP, HEALTHY RISK TAKING, COLLABORATION, INCLUSION, AND PROFESSIONALISM) WITHIN THE WORKPLACE, WHILE REFLECTING ON HOW TO INTEGRATE THEM INTO THEIR LIVES OUTSIDE OF TEAMWORKS. STUDENTS WILL GAIN SKILLS, BOTH TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL, WHICH WILL CONTRIBUTE TO SUCCESS IN FUTURE JOB OPPORTUNITIES. (SEE SCHEDULE O)
