THE MISSION OF MARIN BALLET IS TO PROVIDE EXCELLENT DANCE TRAINING AND EDUCATION AND TO PROMOTE THE ART OF DANCE.

CLASSICAL DANCE TRAINING:MARIN BALLET'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE EXCELLENT CLASSICAL DANCE TRAINING AND EDUCATION, AND TO PROMOTE THE ART OF DANCE. MARIN BALLET IS A SCHOOL THAT IS KNOW NATIONALLLY AS AN ORGANIZATION THAT CAN AS SUCCESSFULLY PREPARE YOUNG PERSONS TO SUCCEED IN THE DANCE PROFESSION AS IT CAN INSTILL A LIFELONG APPRECIATION FOR THE ARTS IN ALL OF ITS STUDENTS, WHETHER THEY GO ON TO PURSUE A PROFESSIONAL DANCE CAREER OR NOT.THE MARIN BALLET TRAINING PROGRAM CURRENTLY SERVES 450 YOUTH PER YEAR AND MORE THAN 180 ADULTS IN A DIVERSE SCHEUDLE OF MORE THAN 75 CLASSES PER WEEK SPANNING THE RANGE OF PRE-BALLET FOR 3 YEAR OLDS, ADVANCED BALLET FOR THE ASPIRING PROFESSIONAL, AND FUN, CHALLENGING CLASSES FOR THE ADULT AMETEUR. OUR COMPREHESIVE PROGRAM FOR BALLET TRAINING INCLUDES EXPOSURE TO MODERN DANCE, JAZZ, YOGA, PILATES, WEST AFRICAN, SWING, FLAMENCO, MUSICAL THEATRE, AND CHARACTER SPECIALTY CLASSES.
FINANCIAL AID:OUR FINANCIAL AID PROGRAMS, WHICH BENEFIT FROM LONGSTANDING PARTNERSHIPS WITH SERVICE AGENCIES AND LOCAL SCHOOLS, OPERATE ON AN ANNUAL BUDGET OF NEARLY $90,000 TO SUPPORT THE TRAINING NEEDS OF OVER 30% OF OUR STUDENTS.
PERFORMANCE:OUR COMMITMENT TO EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES, HIGH-CALIBER PRODUCTION VALUES, FIRST-RATE CHOREOGRAPHY, AND THE INFUSION OF LIVE MUSIC WITHIN THE CURRICULUM MAKES MARIN BALLET A UNIQUE PLACE TO STUDY AND A UNIQUE PLACE TO GROW. MARIN BALLET PROVIDES A VARIETY OF PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDING NUTCRACKER IN DECEMBER, AND SPRING & SUMMER PERFORMANCES FOR ALL AGE GROUPS.
