THE CALIFORNIA MUSEUM SEEKS TO ENGAGE, ENLIGHTEN AND INSPIRE OUR VISITORS ABOUT CALIFORNIA'S RICH HISTORY AND ITS UNIQUE INFLUENCE ON THE WORLD OF IDEAS, INNOVATION, ART, AND CULTURE BY CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR LEARNING ABOUT PAST DECISIONS AND EVENTS, PRESENT CIRCUMSTANCES AND FUTURE POSSIBILITIES, ULTIMATELY STRENGTHENING THE BONDS OF OUR COMMUNITY AND STIMULATING IMAGINATIONS TO FACILITATE SOLUTIONS TO COMMON PROBLEMS.

PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIPS AND SUMMER CAMP PROGRAMS, ALONG WITH PROGRAMMING FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC, DISSEMINATING KNOWLEDGE OF CALIFORNIA HISTORY, ARTS AND CULTURE STATEWIDE. PROGRAMS WERE PRESENTED VIRTUALLY AT THE START OF THE YEAR, TRANSITIONING TO A MIX OF IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL AFTER WE RE-OPENED MAY 8, 2021.
