TO INSPIRE, EXCITE AND TO EDUCATE PEOPLE OF ALL AGES ABOUT THE MYSTERIES AND WONDERS OF SPACE AND THE UNIVERSE IN WHICH WE LIVE. CHALLENGER SPACE CENTER USES SIMULATED SPACE MISSIONS, SPACE-AGE TECHNOLOGY AND ARTIFACT EXHIBIT, AND HANDS-ON EXPERIMENTS TO IMMERSE CHILDREN AND ADULTS IN STEM EDUCATION.

EARTH & SPACE EXPEDITION CENTER SPENT MUCH OF FISCAL 2021 TRYING TO REBUILD AND REOPEN THE CENTER AFTER COVID. WE HAVE REINSTATED OUR IMMERSIVE SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATH (STEM) FOR K-12 SCHOOLS, HOMESCHOOLS, AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS THROUGHOUT THE STATE, OFFERING SUPPORT FOR AZ FAMILIES AND TEACHERS. THE MUSEUM REOPENED AND FIELD TRIPS HAVE RESUMED. WE EXPANDED OUR FOCUS TO INCLUDE EARTH SCIENCES AS WELL IN LIGHT OF THE CLIMATE CHANGE ISSUES THAT IMPACT AZ DIRECTLY.
