COMBAT POVERTY BY PROVIDING SOCIAL SAFETY NETS SUCH AS A WEEKEND FOOD BACKPACK PROGRAM, BACK TO SCHOOL CLOTHES FOR CHILDREN RETURNING TO SCHOOL, A PERSONAL HYGIENE PANTRY OPEN TO ALL IN THE CLINTONVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT. WE ALSO OFFER INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT PROGRAMS INCLUDING EMERGENCY FUNDS FOR THINGS LIKE RENT AND MEDICAL EXPENSES AND CAR REPAIR FUNDS.

PROVIDE WEEKEND FOOD BACKPACKS TO 250 CHILDREN EACH WEEK. THE BACKPACKS INCLUDE TWO BREAKFASTS TWO LUNCHES AND A SNACK.SERVE 200 UNDUPLICATED HOUSEHOLDS EACH MONTH WITH PERSONAL HYGIENE ITEMS. OVER 8,040 ITEMS HAVE GONE OUT TO FAMILIES IN OUR AREA. ITEMS RANGE FROM DIAPERS AND WIPES TO SHAMPOO AND TOOTHPASTES. OUR BACKPACK FAMILIES HAVE PERSONAL HYGIENE ITEMS INCLUDED RIGHT IN THEIR BAGS.OUR BACK TO SCHOOL CLOTHING RESOURCE WAS ABLE TO SOURCE BRAND NEW CLOTHING FOR 725 STUDENTS IN THE CLINTONVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT. HOME REPAIR GRANTS FOR ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS, EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM PROVIDING FUNDING FOR THINGS LIKE RENT, PRESCRIPTIONS, UTIL BILLS ETC., AND CAR REPAIR ASSISTANCE.
